conscience off, dick on, and everything will be alright.
Tonight while I was driving home from work, I made a monumental life-altering decision. I'm going back to school to get my bfa in ceramic arts. First, I will finish my degree in graphic design. At that point, SOCAD may or may not have added a fourth year to their program. If they do, I will take the one year upgrade to get my BFA. When I realized that another year of ceramics is something I would absolutely do, and that I would be bummed if I didn't get the opportunity, I remembered that NSCAD accepts my diploma and would allow me to graduate with a BFA after only one more year. So, in three more years, it's either Oakville (again) or Halifax....kind of want to go to Halifax.

I gots me a blog.
I write, and I draw. A lot. I've never been able to keep a journal or sketchbook, so things always end up on receipt paper at work. I think the amount of updates I put on facebook drive people crazy. So this is for me, a collection of whatever I feel like compiling in one place.
In case anyone finds this, here is some information.
You can expect: process work, school projects, caricatures of customers, maybe some photographs, and random quips and thoughts.
Because: I'm heading into second year of a graphic design program at York University, I've got a background in ceramic arts. I also work at the liquor store in a rough part of town and have some pretty awesome looking customers. From time to time, I like to draw them.
Also: I'm a compulsive list-maker, which might show up here. I'm a stop-and-starter who does things full on or not at all, most often a nonsensical combination, so its possible there will be a ton of posts and then none for a while. I have a cat, Olivia. She is the most hilarious non-person I've ever known, and there will be posts about her. There will also be awesome things I find on the internet, largely design related. Anything else pertinent or not will just unveil itself in the process of trying this blog on for size.
